Is it possible to add mouse side buttons to Aurora? there's some options that u have to enable and disable every time so it would be a lot more comfortable.

Yes. I have a Logitech MMO gaming mouse with 12 additional programmable side buttons. With the utility software downloaded and installed, you can map each button to a key. "Num 1" to map the 1 from the numeric keypad for example.

    Cheers!

Yeah, but there's some mouses that don't have software, but the windows recognizes 2 side buttons, so I think they can easily make Aurora recognize them. hope they see my suggestion

Yes, windows contains a list of 3rd party drivers from many OEMs and attempts to load the correct driver. However, it's best to load the driver and any software included from the OEM to make sure it matches up to the device. If windows picks the correct driver (which can be verified in Device Manager), you're good--otherwise get it from the OEM.

I don't have the kind of mouse you're describing to test with. But, an MMO mouse with OEM driver/software loaded will do the trick.

This is complicated because Aurora is using a special hook for keyboard input only. It requires a new second hook for mouse events, which fires every time you move the cursor.

Moreover it is only possible to listen for the XButton 1 and 2 which are the back/forward buttons. If you got a mouse with more buttons it cannot listen to these buttons.

I would recommend to remap the mouse buttons to for example Numpad buttons so it triggers the cheat. Depending on how good the mouse software is, you probably can setup it the way that it only remaps when Aurora is running.

Is Aurora supposed to listen to XButton 1 and 2? because that is why I opened the topic for, to Aurora recognize XButton 1 and 2 because they are not recognizing.

No it does not, like I said. I also said that XButton 1 and 2 are the only mouse buttons that would theoretically work but requires massive changes. Not only a rework of the current hook method but also a rework of how you select the hotkey.
