I don't recall seeing the poll either, however, I would prefer the individual trainer for each game approach.

I would surmise that surely if anything was to go wrong with the programming side, it would easier to debug an individual file for one game trainer, rather than one file for thousands of games and the multiple permutations thereof.

I must have missed the notice about the vote, however I will say this.

I am a paying member of CH and of another well known trainer group who currently uses an "AIO" platform. I literally only went there cause they have a fully working PayDay2 trainer and one for Police Simulator. That being said, I have noticed that the AIO has some pretty nice benefits. One in particular is that when I download a game or reinstall one etc., it sees it and the trainer is ready and waiting. There is also the fact that regardless of age or last update they all work with the in-game overlay via the windows game bar so I just hit {Start}+G and then tick off my options. They also have iOS support for the mobile control which is a big plus.

Now, on the other hand, in many situations such as American Truck Sim, Euro Truck Sim, The Sims 4, and Control, the AIO says that the trainer is not compatible with the build version and you have to click a few extra buttons to use cause the game was updated without changing actual code and so the trainer thinks its broken but it works fine and you have to do this EVERY time you want to load. Another mark on their system is that when you are switching options with the keyboard hot-keys you get audio feedback that an option was toggled. If you do it with the phone app you just have to hope it works and you don't turn to a bullet sponge cause it didn't sync proper.

There really are pros and cons to both sides of the AIO but for me at least, the cons are not enough to make me think the AIO is a bad idea. If I don't have internet its likely cause I have no power and I am not using my computer anyway at that point so needing to be "always on" has not been an issue for me to date and I have been using them now for almost the entirety of 2021. Your mileage may vary?

We have been working from day 1 to get our iOS app approved by Apple but they have denied us every time for this reason or that reason. We have a new build which we hope will satisfy all their requirements which apparently they didn't enforce on the other AIO you are speaking of, and will be uploading it tomorrow for approval. So it's not that we ignored iOS, the app was ready at the same time as Android, it's that Apple has been being a **** and not accepting it despite our best efforts.

The problem is the vast majority of people seem to think that it's broke.

I somehow missed seeing the Poll as well.

But I suppose I speak with the marginal minority as I think it's fine as it is. Improvements are certainly welcome but I have no complaints.

I seem to have missed the vote as well and I check the forums multiple times a day. So that's weird. When did the poll come out? Regardless though, I vote for the all in one AIO. It sounds pretty sweet and like 0x90 says, it will streamline basically everything and only a click to update, even on super old trainers. Change is a good thing folks. It may seem scary or make you uncomfortable but I think a trainer change like this will be fantastic. Seems like it would be easier on the trainer makers for sure. I like everything 0x90 said. I say ya'll go for it. The current way is not "broken" as some have been saying. Times are changing and evolution is a positive in this sense. Change is good. I vote for something new.
I like to use CH trainers when I stream on Twitch :)

I think you guys should move on to whatever management and developers are comfortable with. We users will adapt, nobody ever said that trainers had to be standalone forever and to be honest, an AIO solution comes with benefits.

The only thing I would ask for is for a way to download and maintain the trainers for old versions of a game or to prevent updating, because sometimes I use a trainer to look for speedrun strats in older patches where exploits, glitches or out-of-bounds were not fixed yet.

Looking forward to what you guys come up with! 😎

Another pro argument for an AIO is that it has no dependencies because it can be 80mb large and nobody will complain. With thousands of trainers we have to keep the size as smallest as possible. In an AIO app you can simply add everything it needs to run and it just runs. No more "Download this .NET runtime" "But I did still not working" "No you need x64 and x86" "I have" "Version 3.1?" "Oh, now it works" and no more "Download this RGB file" and "Download this Edge runtime".

In MY opinion, if its done right, AIO has only benefits. For both users and developers, but I really want to be honest and let you know before you are agreeing with me that an offline mode will be the most difficult part. And I do know that the offline mode we have is a huge advantage over our competitors which all require permanent internet connection. We're currently evaluating the possibilities regarding offline mode and AIO...
