Why all the new trainers exe comes with a mobile in the filename? e.g gamename mobile.exe Also, what's the overlay suppose to do?

An over-layed version of the trainer will appear on the game screen so you can see what is on or off option wise, mobile is coming in the near future where the trainer can be accessed on a tablet or phone and used from either of those so it's always at your side.

The latest version of the overlay is an ingame menu where you can toggle cheats or change editor option values in the game, without alt tab, without a mobile app and without any hotkeys.

I cannot activate any options in the ingame menu. Pressing any option keys result in trainer off. Also, cannot tick any box in the ingame menu.

Not many trainers have the NEW in-game overlay, some have an early version of it which is probably what you are seeing.

You need to press Ctrl+Shift ingame first. This removes input from the game and enables input to the overlay. But it's also written on the trainer + on the overlay itself.

If there are no boxes to tick on the overlay, then it's an "old" overlay.

If pressing hotkeys results in "deactivated" then you have an "old" overlay version which is bugged. As a workaround uncheck "mute hotkeys" in "Ingame overlay" tab on the trainer BEFORE activating the trainer. If that also doesn't work you are using another version of the "old" overlay which is completely broken. In this case you need to tell me the game and trainer so I can update it.
