Some of the games I play I keep multiple backups because new versions branch off into different stories so like playing different versions, like Starbound. How does one get an older trainer to stay without the new trainer overwriting it? 😮

I have somewhat related question - I have trainer for old game (Wolfenstein from 2009) and TM keeps trying to update it on each launch and failing with "unexpected response (old trainer?)".
Is there any way to stop it from trying, but keep the trainer on the list?

right-click the trainer and uncheck/click the "Keep this trainer up to date"
