A good idea for sure. I'm waiting for the 9700k's to arrive, and there's no guarantee that the current adapters will work for that. Granted, they *probably* will, I don't like risking such things.

There's also the far chance AMD produces something that really tears me away from Intel. the 19xx and 27xx chips have certainly been close.
