Here is a idea. What if they made a app that allows them to remotely activate the trainers and the cheats with them. It would be handy for those who play on laptops.

Or, you scan the QR code with your mobile (Mobile Device in the trainer) and buy yourself an USB Numpad.
Good for health, bad for education.

I actually like this idea. It would be good for games that don't like minimizing or just so you don't have to minimize to do it etc. That said unless someone volunteers to do it for free making apps isn't cheap in most cases.

Why should this be any useful than what Taurus said? Activating options at your mobile device requires you to have such an app installed and launched, while we need to have support android and iOS both for the latest devices (smartphones and tables) while you still have to put your mobile devices next to your keyboard which can also be used to toggle cheats by hotkeys.

A mobile app makes sense if a game forces you to launch at fullscreen and you cannot see/remember which hotkey toggles with function. For this purpose we added QR code to each trainer. Once scanned it shows you the current hotkeys for each function. This works immediately on all devices without needing to take care of hardware or future OS versions and last but not least fulfills the same purpose.

(I didn't mentioned all the trouble with firewall / wlan issues that might occur with an additional app you requested).

Not to mention you can remap all of the trainer keys to whatever you want and use those keys on your laptop. The modified keys also print out using the QR code function built into the trainers.

Would it be easier to press CTRL+F1 or find your phone, unlock your phone, find the app, launch the app, login to the app, find the game you are playing, activate the trainer and then press the keys on your phone to activate a cheat which then may take 30 secs or more to activate once it makes it through your phone carrier's mobile network and back through your firewalled PC unless using WiFi which it would then have the determine how to best connect to your PC and likely require special firewall permissions or security exclusions to talk with your DHCP IP address and that opens a whole other pot of security issues.

If and when we think that having a phone app to control a trainer on a PC you are literally playing the game on, then we may look into it, but right now it's simply a novelty that has no real-world benefits for anyone other than maybe 2% of gamers in very specific situations.

That's seems a good idea. Got my first gaming laptop and F1 will not activate trainers. Why not?

Laptops normally use the F1 to F12 keys as multi-purpose keys for multimedia so F1 is also for something like muting sound. They can't do both so you should have a toggle key "Fn" or something that serves that purpose.

You can also permanently change the default usage as either function keys or multimedia keys in the bios.

I use a Razer Naga / G600 as a numpad for my laptop. Great for macros for games like StarCraft, also great for cheats.
