As some of you may know I'm not the biggest consoles fan to say the least but still I find that platform games are uber fun to play with a controller and I do love my platform games. The question is which one is better and what's the deal with the 360 d-pad that everyone seem to complain about and no one really explaines what's wrong with it? Also which one is more compatible even with old sega emulators and other dos oldies? Could really use your help all the consoles beasts out there, tnx.

I have never had a problem using the 360 controller for pc games. Most modern games that are released on both pc and 360 will have a built in 360 controller input interface (ie skyrim), but for older games that don't have this, you can use 3rd party key mapping programs like xpadder to set up your controller exactly how you want it.
Also, I've never had a problem with the d-pad

Thanks guys you helped me a lot, I eventually bought the Xbox One controller because all of the improvements but mainly because it was much more comfortable. The 360 has this bulge for the batteries and it's was really annoying for me.. Anyway it works like a charm and I'm really happy with it, also thanks about the 3rd party programes advice I had no idea about those.
