    I think I have two 75s n one 45 if I remember right.

Oh and if I could find a working Laser disc player. It still would be neat to have.

I have about 300 original cd's some of them pretty rare and all of them in mint condition except for two which I bought from 2nd hand because I couldnt find them anywhere.
I still buy a cd here and there for the sake of nostalgia, nothing like that feeling of opening new cd smelling that booklet and the sound oh the sound..
I have full collections of the following:
    Metallica
    Megadeth
    Pantera
    GN'R
    Iron maiden
    Motorhead
    Sound garden
    Alice in chains
    Dream theater
    Nirvana
    Pearl jam

    And many more partial collections.

Oh yeah and sadly no MiniDisc player. I wasn't heavily into music at the time when they came out. The only thing I can see that it had going for them was that they came in the outer protective shell (kind of like a PSP disc) that made it harder to damage. I do have some CDs that are badly damaged and can't listen to them.

I do have a working Walkman Cassette Player though. Takes AA batteries and plays all your favorite mix tapes.
    Your bitterness, I will dispel

I have a working walkman too and a double cassette stereo player with turning heads and even some orginial cassettes.
I also have a working 'Sony' discman.

I've been listening to rock and later on metal since my childhood. I remember the only source I had back then was radio, and I discovered some of my all time favorite rock bands there which it helped to expand my taste into more extension and further into metal. I recorded some stuff or found some gems through radio and later bought it's CDs.

I remember when I was around 8 first I heard working man by Rush and it totally blew my mind! Rush is my first favorite rock band ever, their debut was heavy as ****, so heavy it blows your mind away when you listen to the genre for the first time. it was influenced majorly by Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, then they went more progressive further and made their own sound. so I can call them my first hard rock and progressive rock band ever. An unique Progressive band, their music was both magical and heavy back then to my ears, it sounded kind of vague too, but in an awesome way. I remember listening to them during winter when schools were closed due to heavy snowing back then in Iran. Good ol days. when I left Iran, I picked the hobby of collecting my favorite album collection, but I stopped it since converting them to digital was a pain. I'm getting all of my music on digital and beside that I collect vinyls.

I'm also from the last generation that used to record my favorite songs from radio via a cassette player.

I had a kind of vintage vinyl player with cassette turntable during cassette era but I threw it into the attic. I've got a Crosley CR6010A-Re Collegiate Portable USB Turntable now, cool stuff.
    I listen not to sympathy

Withdraw your feeble aches and moans
Or suffer smite from this my hand.
