I hope it doesn't. I haven't tested it but it should be the developer who are responsible to prevent cheating. If our trainer can be used in multiplayer then every trainer can be used in multiplayer. A basic anti cheat should be standard in multiplayer environment.
I'm afraid it might, The servers of Xenoverse are utter sh*t (at least the EU servers) constantly going down barely functional, and I haven't seen anything on Cheat-prevention, I don't think they realized what releasing to PC could mean, other than more money.
Even when playing the game singleplayer you have to connect to the server and the trainer works in multiplayer lobby because most things run client-side, I assume it might also work I multiplayer matches.
There's definitely going to be people with maxed out attributes in pvp and the damn sure will be some with infinite energy or HP, whether it's actually from this trainer nobody knows.
Maybe thats why my Battle items are locked away on my account.
Actually never tested my MEGA OP saiyan in PvP .... but did go online with Parallel Quests to help out others. The Trainer was not running at that moment.
Looks like the dont do nothing :-P
I think the "infinite items" cheat is what made the objects crash.
I have 4 items (well, all 4 slots are locked) which count 0 in sell and in menu but when you buy items, you see that the count for this item is actually 1.
So there definitely is an issue there.
Someone fixed the problem with Hex editing it seems?
I wouldn't dare doing it since what he said is rather vague.
As for cheating, any RPG with online capabilities and a characters saved locally will get cheaters, it was also the case with Orcs Must Die 2 and the leaderboards full of cheaters which disgusted the community.
OMD2 is not a RPG but you still needs "skull points" to unlock and upgrade items, lots of cheaters to unlock everything and battle to reach highest score in leaderboards with infinite ressources, infinite health and mana...
I think it was going to happen no matter what!
I did some research on google, you can easily find saves and save game editors for the game on PS3, 4 and XBOX One so the consoles are not outside of cheater's sight either.
If WoW had a cheat for money or levels, you would also find lots and lots of OP charaters I think.
Ppl want to cheat because it's boring to do it legally and takes too much time when there are so many games around, it cannot be prevented IMHO.
Anyway, I'd be glad to start all over but I took something like 15 hours to get all characters, 100% story mode, all PQ done and finish only one training.
So I don't think I really want to mess that completely just to have battle items work again
I fixed my messed up battle items through a bit of rudimentary save file editing. Each item is 16B. The pre-last 4B is count. The last 4B is something to do with it being equipped. Nulling out that last 4B for all my consumable fixed the issue.
is there a guide for this or something??
