I am preloading it on Steam now also. It says it is a 59GB download, I thought it was supposed to be about 64 or so? Anyway, can't wait to play and looking forward to Trainer

the remaining few gigs are waiting for launch day i guess????

Almost no recommended/minimum gets the hard drive requirements right. Also, sometimes those include any potential save games you may accumulate during average play time.

I'm hoping there is no extra download required on release, just due to my lame connection. 500KB/s, or 0.5 MB/s. :P

My Pre-load on steam is done, judging by the popup when I hit play it gives you the choice to "Play Grand Theft Auto V" and "Play GTA Online" so it looks like they are separate things.

I personally hope there is an option for the special abilities of the 3 characters, bullet time, rampage and the car one

Correct me if I am wrong, but we are all discussing whether or not which version will work, be it physical copy, Steam, or Rockstar Warehouse. From my understanding no matter which version you select (I purchased the physical boxed version) it will still require Rockstar Social Club. Like in the past on Steam when you would buy games that the physical version required GFWL, you owned them on Steam, but you still had to go through GFWL. That is how it was explained to me, no matter which version you chose, you will still have to go through Rockstar Social Club. Any thoughts on this?

Same here, kingbob. After all those Ubisoft letdowns I was sure never to pre-purchase a game again but admit I just couldn't resist preordering this one. Preloading now

This has been a thing for quite a few years already. The same was required from LA Noire and Max Payne 3 so everyone you see here talking most likely knew about RSC before they purchased GTA 5.
