The game has gotten some pretty extensive overhauls (Including switching from 32 to 64 bit.) so I can understand the points requirement in the request section being rather high for this game, game just hit version 3.0 with a number of new features and yet more bug fixes, even some new gameplay content.

It's nice to see Egosoft fixing the game but I wonder if it can be truly fully fixed but we'll see, haven't played it since 2.0 was released so it's been a while now.
(Script mods and such might be able to give some simpler cheats but that's just from what I remember from X3 and it's stand-alone game/expansion.)

I'm not even playing the game but I tossed in 500 purely out of Holiday spirit. Maybe some others will share in the affliction.
