Avernum: Escape from the Pit Message Board  

Nice editor but can not get the item editor to work. any updates? I'm using the steam version. 😵

I can't get the item editor to work I don't think I'm doing anything wrong. I open my inventory and add an item to some slot and nothing happens. I don't know how to get to the character stats page to edit my stats. The inventory page does not work. I would gladly spend my points on a working trainer although I have no idea how to do that or even how many points I have.

Got also some problems with the trainer.
He seems in the first to work because health and mana is unlimited.
But if I go in battle mode the trainer seems to hit my spacebar all the time.
I can fight if I click fast enough, but spells are no further possible.
After some time I can not move any character nor take a new turn with a character.
The game still response due to return the text "... is waiting" in the log, but nothing else happens.
If I activate the AP mode the above mentioned takes place and I need to restart my game.
Also the inventory editor does not work as he should be.

Is it possible, that there was a minor patch?
The ingame version number says 1.0.1S.

As soon as the trainer is active, I enable unlimited health and boom goes my.. spacebar? Don't really know.

That's weird because no keys are sent with my trainer. Can you send me a savegame while you are in a battle?

I wish I could, but the game doesn't allow to save during combat.

As somebody above stated, the game shows up as 1.0.1S in the game, don't know if it's been updated lately..

Thinking about it, I'm sending you my .exe - Maybe that helps.

Does anyone have the game crash after starting the trainer and then trying to go to the character screen? Version shows as 1.0.1S steam, windows 7 32-bit being used.

P.s. anyone also know if the game was updated/changed from last posting of trainer?
