Assetto Corsa Message Board  

The instructions say -

"Using this Trainer
------------------
Launch the trainer first, then launch the Game and then Press F1 at the Main Menu.
Listen for "Activated"..."

Doing that just gets me "trainer cannot find game"

I've read all of the page at www.cheathappens.com/trainer_troubleshooting.asp
Nothing there springs out at me.

I've tried running the trainer first, and the game first.
Tried it in the game folder. Same every time.

All other trainers work fine.

Point me towards what instructions I'm not reading please?

Numpad 7: Reset Trainer - the game launches a separate program when
you start a race or event. If the trainer is already running
and a new program launches, use this key to re-locate the
game so that your options will work again.

numpad 7 does nothing when I press it.

It just never gets past the "trainer cannot find game" thing.

I'll try again.

Ok, apologies for my mistake in not actually trying it in a race.

Because it point blank refused to find the trainer at the title screen, I assumed it wouldn't recognize num+7 in a race either.

It does. And does indeed work fine if you do num+7 every race. So thank you very much for a great trainer. And taking the effort to update it so often also.

So a heads up to anyone using this trainer for the first time.
- The bit in the instructions saying "Press F1 at the Main Menu" means NOTHING! lol
- It will do nothing. Start a race with the trainer loaded. Then num+7. Then the cheat options.

im a long time CH user and for some reason when i try to f1 my assetto corsa i get the " trainer cannot find game" its a legit steam game so i dont understand y its not finding the game, any help on this would be great

I think literally people are TROLLING me.. literally TROLLING.. i mean we have posted this MANY TIMES why this occurs.. and then someone posts this LITERALLY 2 POSTS DOWN from the same problem which we already addressed THERE and multiple times in these forums.

i give up..

An update or some such seems to have properly bummed it up now though.

I've not played it in weeks due to getting back into and completing GRID for the first time ever.

Now if you press numpad 7 at any point in a race or at the pre-race screen it dumps you back to the menu.
