I think he was asking about updating the trainer to the latest version, I noticed when I was testing a mod that the trainer is not the same version as the game, so I ended up loosing 4 members from the council before I could test the mod out properly.

But still, handy for testing out mods before you release them to the wide world.

Just checked mine and its still at 4963 which the 4964 editor works on.

I also have the 1.0.0.55175 version. There´s no trainer for that.

this game is a 30gb download.. I am going to be most displeased if our trainer still works

as expected, I wasted 20 minutes testing this trainer, not to mention 30gb of downloading.

the current trainer(s) work for both of the latest versions of STEAM of this title.

the way I get the version number is to go here:

C:\Steam\steamapps\common\XCom-Enemy-Unknown\XEW\Binaries\Win32

right click on

XComEW.exe

click DETAILS

and note File Version


I see no other place in the game showing any other version number?


this is LEGIT STEAM version, fresh install..

I am uninstalling the game to make more room again on my HD.

this game hasn't patched since 2013..
