I was hoping we could have a trainer for lets say, notepad or paint based on the same trainer template that is free to download so we can bombard the AV forums with it for sample and false positives.

Any ways, I have made some progress and hoping the BitDefender would now make progress.

I'm going to pick only one thing from all of this: BD is broken when it comes to exclusions.

For the rest, if I want to use trainer, I'll play offline with the offline trainer tool and disconnected internet.

Manage to get it working. Also not sure why. But this is what I did for bitdefender.

I did the following.
1. Anti-Virus - Exclusion from the location of the files.
Exclusion from %User Appdata%\local\temp

2. On-access Scanning is Permissive and Active Virus Control is Permissive.

Firewall .. I enable ~mnn133.tmp to connect internet - this allow connection to check and authenticate the trainer.

What I do to avoid issues with the AV picking up trainers as malicious software is create an exception folder for my trainers and dump them all in there with shortcuts on my desktop.
This is easily the best way to deal with them.
Google your AV and exception folder.

All of them have the option of doing this just takes 2 minutes to set it up and then you're good to go.

hey im just wondering if there is a way to change the value of the things you skin like whale, croc, shark ect. if anyone knows please post i want to deck out kenway and have all the nice things. thanks

how do you get the editor to work? i enter the vaules i want, tick the arrow, the vaule then disapears, switch back to the game, and nothings changed. Tried setting the numbers before and after i've started the game and activated the trainer and neither works everything else in the trainer does though!

Before you can edit the values, the trainer must have read from the game.

If you have 3000 gold but the editor displays 0 it wouldn't help to change the 0 to 5000 as it hasn't any effect.

So go ingame and open the game menu by pressing ESC. Your money should be visible at thetop of the screen, switch back to the editor and see if the editor displays your money value. Edit it and click on the mark button next to it. Now go ingame and reopen the menu.
