I got a response from Avast

    Dear customer,

thank you for contacting us. We are sorry about this issue. Can you please temporarily deactivate avast? Right-click on the avast icon in the lower-right of your task-bar. Select „avast! shield control“ and e.g. „disable for 10 minutes“. Then download a file which is blocked by avast and send us the file as a ZIP folder.

Also, please create a screenshot of the warning message avast is showing when downloading. To do this, just press the key "PrtScr" located on your keyboard right to the F12 key. Then, open a graphic editor, e.g. MS Paint and click "edit" and "paste". Save the screenshot and send it to us.

We will then scan the file in our virus lab.

    Best regards
    Florian Förster

Also created a ticket and submitted the trainer and screen shot. Hopefully these would help AVAST find a way to exclude the trainers.

I have been having the same issues with Avast!.Thanks so much for the useful advice, ladies and gentlemen.

If I turn off the shields for 10 minutes, then turn them back on after I download the trainer, wont it just delete the trainer next time when I activate it?

I have been adding the trainers to the firewall exclusions, with mixed results.

I like the protection I am getting from Avast on my PC and my Droid, would hate to uninstall it.
I have Commodo on the laptop and ZoneAlrm on my second boot drive. ZoneAlarm caused more probs than the other 2.

Here is a fix that seems to work quite well for me.

Go to Settings -> Antivirus -> Scroll to exclusions -> File paths/Urls

In File Paths type or copy in an exclusion for your trainer folder whether you use the CH Trainer Manager or not. For example C:\Users\yourname\Documents\My Trainers\* <- ENTER LIKE THIS and DO NOT forget to click the ADD button at the bottom or it will not save your exclusion.

Now for URLs just click on the URL tab and add www.cheathappens.com/* <- JUST LIKE THIS with http and click ADD.

And you should be set. It will still scan a trainer when it is launched, but run it in sandbox mode. After a few seconds it'll give you the option to terminate or continue execution. Just hit continue execution and it'll never ask again.

ALSO Avast! is detecting that Origin is malware as well. I had numerous problems trying to download games last night, but the exclusion method is working so far. Just send false positive tickets with screenshots of your detection messages. Also Avast! support wrote me back with my false positive ticket for the Cheat Happens website and the Origin issue. Let's hope they get this resolved soon because my subscription doesn't expire until 2016 .
