Just guessing, did you cramp all Trainers into a single folder and extract the new one in, replacing the old files? Because there's no trainer file in the latest trainer download. Which might be the reason for the crashes that everyone is still using the old one.
EDIT: Now after downloading the latest trainer for the fourth time, there is a new .exe in there, but it does crash the game, no matter if I start a new game or load an old one.

I always delete the old version before adding the new version. And it doesn't matter how many times I download the new version it always says version 1.0001

Yes, as I said when editing my previous posting I can't get it to run either. And no, mods don't seem to be the problem either, since I deinstalled all of them and restarted the game and it still didn't work

Does not crash the game but the options do not seem to work. At least the first 3.
