Was just curious if anyone here playing as Cornelius for Rome could tell me how bad the negative to public order is for them.

It only lists the minimum amount, not the maximum amount. I'd like to play as them to skirt around the Julius generals going nuts, but if the public order negative stacks up to something ludicrous, that's even worse.

Unless you plan on heavily cheating your squalor like using a modification, i would not recommend playing any faction that gives you a public order bonus. The only other way to counter this is by building alot of happiness buildings that increase your public order like temples. Or by adding public order skills to your generals, legions, dignitaries and champions. But that would mean that you will need to station 1 of those in that province or city.

I dunno, it's not too bad. It's just slow to rise.

my oldest provinces are fine but the newer ones are still pretty bad with public order.

I didnt even know which one to pick, so I picked Cornelius, thinking I'd ally with the Greek states, didn't even need them anyway
