Why do I get the feeling that the Greek states pack may have caused the game to go even more wonky?

Played with the trainer for several hours before I got the DLC code from Amazon. Not a single crash. Game ran perfectly, trainer worked perfectly.

Then I installed the DLC and boom. End of turn crashes galore with and without trainer.

I have not had any crashes yet. The trainer is working wonderfully for me.

So, I've been waiting for this game to come out since last year. Downloaded, liked the potential, but crashes every 5 minutes. Originally, I suspected the trainer. However, after running test, it looks like it's a game being released before game day. But they do keep making each version of the game more epic and more sophisticated, so I'll give Creative Assemble the benefit of the doubt and pretend like the game isn't coming out until October.

I have to admit, I was looking forward to playing mindless Total War like it was the old days. Looks like I have to go back to the real world (ie. work + family).

I've been playing for some hours now with the new trainer, not a single crash with the OFF option

Hey Cal I feel really sorry for you, from all this a.s.s comment these people give you... ( MOSTLY FROM THAT NORWAY DUDE)

come on people he knew the game & the trainer have problem & crashing everything, so maybe we should give him something to find out what happened. Rather than have a go at him, for something that he may or may not have done...

Chill people, Cal is the GOD of trainer, so im sure he'll find out what really make the game crash soon...


maybe the region code that we have on steam, make the game crash??? ( for whoever buy the game in your store ) ME FOR EXAMPLE...

I had some crash problems when going into actions (champions/spy/battles). You have to shutdown all options (F7) before you go into any actions. This is working for me, trainer and all when I follow this advice...Great Job on the trainer!!

The game has only crashed for me while using the trainer. I can play without the trainer with no issues.

However, I don't think it is tied to a specific feature of the trainer. During one instance, I had only activated the trainer (using no features) and ended the turn to have it CTD.

I'm no expert, but could this be a bug within the game that the trainer can potentially make worse/cause to happen more frequently?

I haven't had a chance to try the new trainer, yet.

Try the new trainer. The game seemed to conflict/detect the older versions of the trainer, but the new version seems to be working better for a lot of people.
