credit where credit is due = not putting out a game that requires this many patches to begin with. Though a good game, its still beta. Had CA put it out in Oct like planned, these patches would have been avoided.

i doubt it, these patches were only made after the bugs were discovered by everyone playing the game, if the game had been delayed till october, we'd just have the same patches then instead. I just wish there was an easier way to stop it patching, cause the game ran perfectly for me from the initial release.

exactly, thats the job of QA. QA is one of the final checks and balances that ensure that a product can go from beta to final. In the last month, they could have tested on more systems to ensure proper compatibility.
I had crashing issues initially, but its all good now...except for some minor FPS issues.

My goodness me. I think we should give credit where credit is due. I actually praise Creative Assembly for working on weekends pushing out patches left right and centre. I am however still disappointed with the game, and as soon as I can figure out a way to mod it, I will. In the meantime... I'll cheat

Except that the new patch is just a small hotfix that only fixes an issue that the original patch introduced to begin with. Definitely top performance there from CA, truly worthy of praise.

How to Play in Offline Mode:

I didn't know this was possible until I saw you guys talking about it, so for anyone else that isn't aware this is a helpful guide on how to play in Offline Mode to prevent uncontrolled patches.

I know how annoying it is when you're leaving for home on Friday afternoon and find a client wants updates by Monday morning. I say they should just take the weekend off and update the trainer on Tuesday =)

and tomorrow we're gonna have a hotfix to patch the hotfix that patched the first patch

its really sad to see how CA has fallen from top quality, to EA level of quality
