Personally Rome 2 is not worth the money buying. Go and buy Shogun 2 much better more stable and not how to put it lightly. So up that even playing with would be more fun.
Its curious, for me its the other way round.
Rome 2 works great for me, no crashes, trainer is working well and no problems with the game so far.
Shogun 2 crashes all the time mostly after 3-4 rounds with or without trainer thats not important.
i really wonder what is causing this problems and why the players have such diefferent experiences with the games.
i tryed shogun 2 again 3 days ago but after crashing it 5 times in a row i lost interest in it so sad its a really good game but so many problems...

pps.: anyone tryed the trainer with "caesar in gaul" so far and could tell me if it works? dont want to by it if the trainer doesnt work...?

Two factors, sheer complexity of the Warscape engine, SEGA putting a knife to CA's throat to release this game long before it was completed.
If I play Rome 2 with trainer game is un playable, Game will freeze on turn one and my agents can't attack, IF I start game with out trainer game runs fine...When this game was released I had a few problems with trainers (Not Knocking anyone)But this trainer is the worst trainer every, Normal I can hit F7 before I hit the end button, but I get weird things happening with game, like I said earlier in post, switch trainer off game runs fine..............Hopefully the training can be fixed soon
1st. Make sure your game and the trainer match!
2nd. Make sure your security programs are ignoring the trainer or turned off.
3rd. Read and follow the trainer instructions to the letter.
4th. Do not run any mods that will change any part of the game that the trainer use's or the trainer will not work at all!
5th. Run the trainer and steam in admin mode.

Just use the Radious mod instead -- it's GODLIKE and sooooo much better than our crappy trainer!

Went through all your steps, no luck, so many problems when I use trainer, I guess I will use game on its now till problems with trainer are sorted out....Thanks for your help
Oh and do not use beta patches.
