I've got no issues with the trainer on Windows 8, not tried it on 8.1, but everything seems to be working correctly.

Check any mods have been updated, make sure you are pressing F7 before you end the turn, to make sure every option is turned off before the turn goes.

In Regards to people posting about crashes

1) the game had a hotfix yesterday. We put out another trainer shortly after the trainer before that. Delete your current trainer and make sure to download the latest trainer again to make sure you have the latest trainer.

2) F7 Key: All Options OFF - this single key will turn every trainer option off. You should use this before entering a battle or pressing END TURN. (LIVE IT LEARN IT LOVE IT)

I just tested every option and did 10 turns no crashes.

For guys got crash issue at end of turn with Win 8.1, please try:

1. Complete quit Steam client, then go to your Steam folder, delete whole folder with name of "appcache".

2. Restart Steam, go to properties of Rome II, verify integrity of game cache.

3, load game to see if getting it done.

windows 8.1 should have nothing to do with anything.

Hey i'm sure most of you guys already know this, but it was news to me so I thought I would share. These guys rock and all, but for the short time when they are updating Rome 2 trainers the mods on steam are actually really cool. And when the trainer and the mods work together its REALLY cool because you can make it so you get all sorts of public order bonuses you cant get with the trainer.

I'd like to believe that, but since the 8.1 upgrade there are crashes all over the place for me. Also, the money cheat has stopped working (it flashes up as 999999 and then goes back to original amount - and if you are really lucky it goes to -999999 and ruins your game... AGH!).

I've had a lot of permissions problems after installing 8.1 so please don't tell me out of hand it cannot have "nothing to do with anything". In fact it is very likely to be a post installation problem I have to deal with myself(as will various other users). No need to get knickers in a twist.
