Its an error with the settings he got. It customizes armor to iron. But to his defense the game is new and he havent had much time to learn it, so its pretty neat. Just stick to the weapons for now.

If you talk about the armor, you mean the armor displayed in the character stats or the armor as an item? If I change the armor of a ranger (not as item) it's working as it should.
