Dead Island Riptide Message Board  

While looking over some of the unpacked files I noticed two skill packages for players not available in the current game. The names are Akuro and Ryder. Does anyone of you out there know anything about these two? They have set-ups similar to the ones for the familiar players like Purna, SamB, John, Logan and Xian. Perhaps they are for an expansion pack or something?

Any information would be appreciated.

Probably for future dlc content. Ryder White was a char in one of the Dead Island dlcs.

Ryder was the end game boss you had to kill, so maybe it's a different Ryder.

Madatcheats is correct also. The DLC for the first DI let you play through his story. So I doubt it would be a different Ryder. He may even be...dare I say it?...a !

Robot or no, it sure is taking them a long time to put out an update/DLC for this.

As an aside, since I always play single player, I have been going over the various files in the game, and am still unable to mod the actual inventory specs successfully. For instance, I want to change the pistol so I can fire one as fast as I can in real life, but the game gorks whenever I make that change and try to put the new inventory file into the data subdirectory in "my documents" like the other modded files. Does anyone know how to do this?
