I'm pretty sure it works just fine in the DLC stuff anyway. You guys do make trainers and editors for some DLC when it warrants it/changes a TON of stuff (see: Borderlands 2), but those cases are so few and far between that it hardly makes sense as a policy... I mean this is basically just a few "here's some extra crap have fun doing this extra cap, oh also here are some models to look at" - none of which apparently requires changing the .exe's memory hooks, so if it works with the Season Pass, works is works. My grandfather used to say "don't question success" - if it works, hey, awesome, right?
It's a shame that the publisher, Deep Silver, has departed pretty significantly from THQ's approach to relationships with studios. They're kind of taking the "we do lots of low-content DLC" approach with games that it doesn't make sense to do that with, now... Metro: Last Light having its best gameplay mode, Ranger Mode, be a preorder bonus or buyable via DLC is total BS, like, worse than the classic Horse Armor DLC. Ranger Mode was just the most immersive, legit, hard but fun and rewarding way to play Metro 2033. Making it pay-to-use in Metro: Last Light shows some pretty questionable priorities on the part of publisher Deep Silver in my opinion.
At least this time the DLC didn't require a new trainer, i know it has to annoy you guys when that happens but I guess that's the service provided. I certainly appreciate it, and I do my best to say thank you for all the goodies your team so regularly provides, but I also see a lot of unintelligible GIMME GIMME GIMME posting any time a game gets patched which is unfortunate since what in the history of CheatHappens makes any member think you guys are going to just say forget it and not patch games that are high profile and that people like to play? Heck you make great trainers for a lot of little indie games, and I really appreciate that personally...
Anyway. Long story short, thanks for curating the library, and glad that this particular publisher-pushed DLC didn't require a trainer "fix" to keep up with their schedule. I personally feel like a sucker for buying the Season Pass when the game launched, as the material is just plain not worth it. I'll be keeping that in mind with all Deep Silver games in the future...
But CheatHappens? Yeah, that's worth the money, for sure.
