Ok... several times you get stuck fighting to save survivors at some home base or other. I managed to get through a couple of these, but the third one has me stumped. A certain preacher type character begins the action by throwing a molotov ****tail which somehow disables all the wire fences at the compound and the zombies rush in. I have tried well over 25 times to save the survivors, but they step on flaming zombies and die, or get bitten and die, or just die for no apparent reason it seems. I cannot save them. I wish there was a way around this stupid exercise in futility. Has someone found a way to do this?

Do you use easy kills? If so turn it off your teammates are even vulnerable as the zombies.

correct! if the option is ON and you point at any NPC (including zombies or friendlies) it will affect them. it works on whatever you are pointing your mouse at.

Oh phooey! Ok... they died like dogs at a cat convention! Yeah, I had easy kills turned on and they mostly burned to death when a flaming zombie touched them or they stepped on them. They were wimps! LOL.

I find the freeze zombies cheat also helps with these missions, and there's usually no need to turn off the easy kills cheat as the survivors you're trying to protect are safely frozen out of the way as well.

Only thing is, that i can't get Freeze zombies to work, everything else works fine.
