Just wanted to update here. I was able to disable the F1 speaker issue, but the trainer never did activate.
Sounds like something may be blocking it. Make sure to turn off your Firewall and virus program. Extract the Trainer to the Steam/Tomb Raider folder and run both game and Trainer "as Administrator."
I just finished the game and then did a little Camp Fire bouncing and the Trainer worked just fine as per instructions.
does it work under multiplayer to boost XP and salvage??
From the CHEAT HAPPENS FAQ:
Q: Why aren't there any cheats for multiplayer games or modes on your site?
A: CHEAT HAPPENS does not support or condone the use of cheats in a multiplayer environment.
I always get invalid trainer user
other trainers are fine
in trainer manager "no version detected"

I assume you are running a Windows Insider built version. - At the moment there is nothing we can do about it.
You're not alone -> Link
Please let Microsoft know about it and send them a feedback via the Windows Feedback Hub and link to the thread above.
For the most part, the trainer seems to be working properly and all the other options I've tried have gone off without a hitch. However, when I press F8 so I don't have to deal with the QTE, which is the main reason I wanted the trainer, the cheat doesn't work.
To be clear, the trainer announces that the cheat is activated and I have read the instructions that explain that the cheat doesn't work 100% of the time, but it hasn't worked *at all*.
Could someone help me out? I don't believe that I'm doing anything wrong as I've followed all the instructions and trouble shooting, but nothing seems to have helped.
Never actually used the option myself, but I would try activating it after you go into a QTE and not just leave it on all the time.
