almost ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS are likely due to the trainer being blocked.
the trainer uses the TEMP directory and etc. on your computer.

if something is blocking the trainer (i.e. anti malware, antispyware, firewall, anti virus, etc.) or blocks it's ability to read and write to the temp directory then it won't be able to work correctly.

other than that, perhaps there is a strange difference with different nationality versions, but that would be the first time I have seen this with origin games this big..

I wish I had ability to test it on your machine HERE, but it's impossible.

there are many many people reporting it working.

if you are at the main menu and your game version (grey color upper right area) isn't 1.2.1000 then the trainer won't work for your game. if it DOES match that, then there is likely some other problem. does your version match or not? can you take a screenshot of your version if it is different?

I just purchased crysis 3 today and got the trainer and it seems 2 activate ok but when I press ANY of the hotkeys the game instantly crashes. even if I only use ONE option INSTANT CRASH Why are gamedevs so anti-cheat that you cant use a trainer in single player after you give them the money 4 the game WTF is this world coming to?!!!

make sure the trainer you are using corresponds to you game version number.

always right click on the trainer and run it as administrator.

security software can interfere with the execution of the trainer. you may need to disable/uninstall all anti-virus, firewalls and other security software and/or add the trainer or the folder that the trainer is in to the exceptions list on your security software.

IE 10 can cause problems with many trainers, if you have IE 10, uninstall it for troubleshooting purposes. More information on uninstalling IE 10 can be found here Link

the trainer is confirmed working. I tested it yesterday myself. so please scroll up and read. the problem is no longer the 'anti-cheat' but something blocking the trainer.

Not to pile on, but for what it's worth I'm experiencing the same problem after the latest update from Origin. It's v1.2.0.1000 and whenever I activate the trainer the game crashes. I've disabled my Windows Firewall as well as my anti-virus software.

I suppose it could be Internet Explorer, but since I run Windows 8 I'm hesitant to remove it.

I was having the same problem with the trainer crashing the game after it was activated. However, I double checked and sure enough I still had the 1.0.1.3 version of the game so I switched back to that trainer and everything is working fine. Just double check your game version, that might be the issue.

I just realized Origin does not update like Steam. Origin you right click on the game and check for updates. Not that my game is up to date it works. Feel like a moron but trial and error works.
