I played the first couple of missions, and so far its not so bad it is easing myself into the game.
Certainly bridges the gap between Aliens and Alien 3, and DLC to come, the fun is of course on MP playing when you co-op with some peeps.
I have everything maxed in terms of settings with FXAA and it looks fine to me, the faces are more bumpy and detailed, from stubble etc.
What confuses me is How hicks is alive. Since he is dead in Aliens three when the four of them Riply and the kid. bishop and hicks. So on that part is confuses me. Oh and this FXAA why cant they just say Anti Alising x 1 x 4 etc etc.
The message was sent in Aliens near the end before they escaped. Which brought the marines to the ship to investigate.
Newt and Hicks died, because of a Xenomorph on the escape ship which in turn caused it to crash land due to the damage cause by the Alien. Bishop being an android was still kinda functional.
Xenomorphs can change sex when they are the only one to lay eggs, which is of course what happened with Ripley.

I hope you see my point now. When people complained about Duke Nukem forever being bad I defended it because everybody had seen the outdated graphics and old schoolish gameplay before. You knew what to expect. In this case it's false ****ing advertisement.

Me too this is surely a fraud.
It saddens me that people still find graphics the most important aspect of the game.
YES! I am an old fart that loves to game. I agree COMPLETELY with your statement. I would rather have crap graphics and better gameplay mechanics and story. It's nice to know that I'm not alone.
