the Mayan long count calendar is not a solar calendar. It does not classify time by revolutions of the earth around the sun, but rather only in full rotations of the earth. Most Christians probably won't be in the street looking for Jesus. (Matthew 24:36- no one knows the time or the place of the second coming).

Dumb people (like me) will be out there making fools of themselves though, that's just a fact.
