Far Cry 3 Message Board  

I have downloaded lots of trainers from this site and I love it! I am only having issues with newest far cry 3 editor: FAR CRY 3 TRAINER/EDITOR 1.05 (DX9+DX11). When I attempt to download it it removes link (file is no longer available). I tried to download it with several different browsers but I just can't download it (I have also tried it in different days). Its always corrupted and stops downloading at some point.

are you using AVG or Bit Defender?

I use avast. I haven't had any problems downloading any other trainers. Even farcry 3 other trainer downloads fine. I have only problem downloading farcry 3 editor/trainer.Link

I would disable/uninstall all AV, firewall and other security software including browser addons and third party apps. lower browser security. try different browsers, etc. I would also clear all DNS, system and browser caches and cookies. different trainers use different security templates so don't expect any one trainer to behave like any other, especially with security software. AVast has been known to block some of our security templates.

It seems that avast indeed was blocking it. It hasn't blocked anything without warning before. I guess there isn't "perfect" antivirus program.

If you wouldn't mind, please contact AVast and let them know that their software is blocking some downloads on our site. Hopefully they will remove the false positive.

I would like to see the option of one hit kills. This would make being forced to hunt with a bow much easier.

This happens to me to (using avast that is) just disable the File system Behavior and script shields and it will work just fine. keep in mind if you have it auto scan daily weekly or whatever it will detect it as a virus and may have to download it in between scans
