Didn't see any solution for this, not anywhere, so I'm posting in the hopes that somebody sees this and found a solution in the three years since the problem was stated.
I have tried to deactivate every function of the trainer, without result. I have tried dying, with no function of the trainer on, without result. I've tried to try it without the trainer running at all, both shutting it off while in the game and starting the game without the trainer, also without result. I still cannot buy the armor and I would really, really, like to have the complete tattau. So any other possible solutions, or a confirmed one would be highly appreciated.

Use the Trainer / Editor to change the Armor to a + Number, I looked at mine it was some maxed integer Negative Number

How do I do that with the latest version of the trainer? There's no Armor option in the editor. And is there a way to fix the reloading bug? When I reload a gun, the game always fills the magazine up fully, but if there's fewer rounds in reserve than there are rounds needed to fill the magazine, then the counter dips into the negative, and i have to collect more ammo until it climbs back to the positive before I can reload again.

You cannot do it because our latest trainer (DX11, April 16, 2017) has a trainer option for Armor (Numpad 4).

And it seems that your save game is corrupted as I didn't encounter any of the issues described in my latest testing of the trainer. Wether reload nor ammunition bugged on me.

Did you try a new game?
