No support for illegal game versions.

I can't seem to get the trainer to work despite the normal methods.

I've tried admin rights and everything.
When I press F1 to locate the game from the trainer. It says "Activated" over and over then the game crashes.
I've tried it at the main menu and in the game.
Am I missing something?
I could use the trainer since I need to get past a point.

You might want to give us some information regarding your machine, operating system & your game version. If you picked up a pirate version of HA or the trainer, the trainer won't work.

For example, I'm running the Hitman Absolution Pro STEAM version installed on a Win 7 Pro 64 bit machine with an AMD 8 core processor, 16 GB RAM & nVidia 460GTX v2 w/ 1GB GDDR5 video card.

First, assuming you are using Steam, open Steam, go into your Steam account Games Library. Select Hitman Absolution, right click for submenu, select "Properties" ~ go to Local Files tab, select "Verify integrity of Game Cache" ~ the tool will then check your Hitman files for errors and auto-correct any errors that are found. This can take up to 10-15 minutes depending on your connection speed. It will tell you when it's complete.

Next...

Be sure you have the most recent version of the trainer. The trainer has been tweaked several times since it was first released. If in doubt, download it again and replace/overwrite whatever you had previously. Extract it & and replace/overwrite previous version into the same directory where Hitman Absolution lives, probably Cor whatever drive)\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Hitman Absolution ~ give the trainer executable ADMIN privileges or always start it in "Run as Administrator" mode. Set up a desktop shortcut to the trainer executable.

Reboot before you run the game. Run the trainer first, make sure you get the Authentication notice. The start Hitman Absolution. The first menu that lets you choose Play, Options, Register, Quit is NOT the main menu so do not hit F1 yet. Select Play, there will be a bunch of logo & loading screens, wait for the Main Menu which offers a choice between Absolution or Contracts. Hit F1, you should hear a voice say, "Trainer Activated."

Don't press any trainer Numpad keys yet. Wait for the Health meter / radar and weapon selection / intuition thing on the right side of your screen to show up. I always hit [Numpad+2] first, you will immediately see your intuition fill up & hear a voice say "Activated. Lots of times this will be the only cheat you need. Do not overdo the [numpad+1] (Superhealth) as it can crash your game. Take a few steps forward before trying this.

[numpad+8](invisable)[numpad+9](No Recoil) & [numpad+0](Improved Aim) are persistent and once selected will stay active throughout the game.

I am an unlimited member so I don't need to nor would I pirate their trainers. They work too hard for them. I also purchase all my games so I tried again.

I put the trainer in the folder (Since I gave it admin access before) and it seems to work now. I am not sure why it works now but I am guessing because I put it in the folder.

I guess having a central folder for all my CH trainers won't work anymore. With new games I will have to store them in the actual folder.

The trainers need to "see" the game. So to prevent the trainer from having to search your entire drive or multiple drives just extract the trainer executable to the main individual game folder. I do this with all my CH trainers.
