XCOM: Enemy Unknown Message Board  

I seem to have the same isseu, all other keys work.
Except the 9 key, it says activated en when i go into an other screen or buy some gear, it will not change ...

any ideas i use X-com 1.0.0.544 with according trainer.
btw checked the trouble shooter page not helping

key 9 also fails for me.dont know why.the sound is clear but no change
but something I thought of last night and it works,when battling super strong opponents wait till its the alien turn then as each alien unit makes a move press 1 and press negative multiple times to wear down their armor,you'll see their red dots go down,you have to be quick..
I used it sucessfully to drop the sectopod down from 14 to 5 before it stopped moving.

The money option in the trainer don't work for me either, but I downloaded CoSMOS and through that I could enter any amount of money that I wanted in the game. If you try the tutorial in CoSMOS you'll learn very quickly how to trace the correct string of data and modify the value to give you more money. It took me about 5 minutes, and I have no past experience what so ever in this field. So give it a try

First of all
THIS IS ONE AWESOME TRAINER
All options work and has helped me kick the aliens back to where they came from
Just a couple of things however
When adding engineers or scientists, the trainer adds 1000
This has the effect of causing all research to be complete almost instantly, meaning you face high strength enemies before you are properly equipped.
And there is no option to add alloys or elerium for the production of your weapons/armor.
My first suggestion would be: modify the trainer so that when adding engineers/scientists, each button press adds 5 engineers/scientists, not 1000
Second suggestion is: add a couple of options to increase alloys and elerium by 100 for each button press, so that you always have enough resources for production.

I leave these suggestions to you guys

I don't know if anyone else has had this issue. The trainer starts no problem and looks like it's working, I start x-com and hit F1 and it tells me the trainer is on and the trainer says it can see x-com working. The problem I am getting is as soon as I try to change anything X-com crashes. The trainer is still up and running so that looks like it's okay. Anyone any ideas as it's driving me nuts.
I'm using the latest trainer and the steam version of x-com. I have tried the other trainer but they don't seem to work with with the exception of the very first one as it tells you it's working but won't let you change anything.

I alsp learned another quicker way to deplete alien health.you have to be quick ,as each one moves press 1 then * to max their health to 1000 then press * again to wipe it down to 1

Hi, I may be being stupid, but to just to be sure...

Why, when i try and open the zip file for this editor (I have tried more than one) do i get the message 'can not open file C:|...etc.. Filename.zip as archive' I ave tried winrar and windows built in zip, is there something you can reccomend?

i havre tried on another pc also
