Steam Maximum Edition Fix! on Crysis 2 PC Message Board - Page 1

Download the FairLight fixed crysis2.exe found here:
gamefix.wiretarget.com/crysis_2.htm

unzip package with 7zip or similar program

replace crysis2.exe with fixed crysis2.exe found in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Crysis 2 Game of the Year\bin32

Make shortcut to desktop with new crysis2.exe

launch trainer, then launch game with new shortcut

After you apply the no-cd fix, does the version number remain the same as the maximum edition? Otherwise, I am concerned that you are throwing away some portion of the most recent updates.

That is the smartest thing I have ever heard anyone say about anything.

Hi,

Just ran upstairs to check. The original exe version is 1.9.0.0. I renamed it backup so it's still in my folder. Anyway, the new no cd exe also says version 1.9.0.0 so I assume they are the same. Don't know for sure, I plan on plaiying the orginal before really jumping into the sequal.
