Same here - "trainer cannot find game".

I am not signed up for any of the beta patches, and use only the official patches released on Steam thus far. No trainer options work for me, and as soon as I take damage the game crashes. According to steam, current content build is 467154.

I go to the main menu with the trainer on then i click f1 to activate it and it says game not found can anyone help!?

First thing is for all that have the prob, "trainer can not find game", dont use this steam beta patch. if you do the .exe is renamed...BUT...for me is the problem, even wen trainer find game and says "activated", the trainer options dont work. I think we should wait till this port to Steam is done and the guys from cheathappens have a better version of game and the time to work on. Wish you all happy new year and allways Good Game

The name of the .exe is still "DARKSOULS.exe" the same as before, so that shouldn't have anything to do with it. Your options aren't working because you're trying to use a trainer that isn't made for your version, since you didn't use the so called beta patch, which is the whole point of the update. Running the trainer as Administrator doesn't helps either.

Also, the patch is being set as "beta" because it's the only way Steam would be able to handle the player-triggered transference of saves and achievements from GFWL. It isn't in fact a beta, it's just a way to have two game versions active at once to give players a chance to transfer their play data, nothing else.

I'm having the same "Cannot Find Game" issue. Also, when I open up the trainer, before even starting the game, it gives me "An error has occurred in the script on this page.Do you want to continue running the scripts on this page?" error. Yes, I am running it as an admin. I'm just not sure if it's related. I even deleted the one I had and redownloaded it, and the same issue is popping up.

The weird thing is, I first got the trainer when it came out and tested it really quickly before leaving for work. That issue didn't occur and I got the "Trainer Activated" message, so I'm confused as to what changed.

Noticed the post of the new trainer after I put in my last post, so tried it. Still having the script error come up, but it works now. Thanks!
