Galaxy on Fire 2 (Full HD) Message Board  

So to those who own it how is this game? What does it compare to? Is it somewhat similar to wing commander, tachyon, freespace?

I see it on steam and might be interested in buying it. I assume you need a joystick also

I'd be curious to know too. Looks like Freelancer. If it is, I am SO in.

its a much much MUCH more simplified version of X3.

*you can only have 1 ship at a time
*unlimited ammo for main guns
*low number of planets
*one structure per planet
*no first person view

the list goes on and on, this game is just bad.

if you played X3, don't bother with galaxy on fire 2.
and if you didn't, get X3: Terran Conflict, it even costs less.

but... does this game have a big learning curve like X3? I spent like like 2 days watching youtube tutorials before understanding how to play it.

Yes i beg of you all to please not give this company any sales, it's a poor ripoff of X3 terran conflict.

it isn't a "ripoff" of x3 .. this game was produced for HANDY .. as tegra2 game, it was released years ago for Android and iOS, in fact this game already has 2 DLC's.

so don't call it a rippoff pls., it is just a simple spaceshooter like freelancer, now ported to PC.

i have played it, dont complete the main quest so quickly or later on you find the game bored and delete it ^^.... the main quest is uber short . you can buy a ship for 3+ million.. but you got the mainquest far to easy completed before you even get there.. and the blue prints you get in the game ... when you finally can get the blue print for a jumping device to get a lot faster around your already half the main quests

Hmmm not a lot of positive feedback right now. I'm glad I asked before purchasing.

It's a shame there hasn't been a good space sim in ages.
