We have created an online petition to try and convince cloud gaming services like OnLive that more people would sign up for their services if cheats and trainers were allowed to be used alongside their SINGLE PLAYER games.
Please read and sign our petition or one day there may come a time when our custom made trainers and cheats can no longer be used should cloud gaming continue to gain momentum and market share.

While it'd be a neat feature - it's a precarious thing as well. Who decides what trainer makers' trainer will be used? How can they be controlled to guarantee service quality? They'll have to lessen their guarantees of even decent gameplay by miles. (Seeing how many bugs trainer functionality include, induce or create.)
Cheats and functionality created by the developer of the game is a whole 'nother story though - if they decide to omit such features, that'd be a damn bummer.
Another possibility would be to include debug modes where applicable, or to create cheat functionalities/trainers themselves, that way they can actually internally control their own service. If they aren't able to control the service they're actually selling and providing (i.e. by getting trainers externally) I can't see it happening for the world.
Had the service looked different and contained more client-side code, it would've been easier. But as it is a streaming service (same thing goes for Gaikai and other competitors) it's not really that simple.
Shame though, seeing how much one's gotten used to messing about with games with the added functionality of trainers - many exclusive to CH.
That said; it's never wrong to make a stand, show that you want to play the game the way you want to. Let's hope they at least see it and reflect upon their customers wishes.
