go_darwin: Do you have the Gods & Kings expansion?
If you don't, then the trainer won't work. There is no more support for the 'vanilla' Civ V base game here.

Yes i have the version from steam, it includes gods and kings and all dlc's. still.. nothings happens lol.
stanley_t2: Scenario's are treated as 'mods' in the game and as such the trainer will not work for them.

Although I have not played the game in awhile, the trainer at least used to work with scenarios. I guess I see no reason why they would not work in scenarios as the trainer influences the game and not the other way around. Therefore, it should not matter if it is a mod or not. The same variables are changed. The game does not tell the trainer not to work because it is a mod. That all being said, I do not write the trainers and could be wrong. I would think that there is some other reason stanley_12 is having his issues.

It is likely some background program is interfering/blocking your trainer.
