Max Payne 3 Message Board  

I have the Steam version of the game. I can't seem to get past the part where Max's friend approaches the group of thugs near cars and runs down the path and always gets shot before I can kill everyone while I am on the hill above them. I hit bullet time to slow everything down and appear to shot everyone I see, but no luck. It cuts to the cut scene where he gots shot and "Failed". All the thugs seem to be standing right next to the car and start to run after him. Am I missing someone somewhere else. Thanks for any help you can provide.

By the way, the trainer works perfectly. I have been a happy CH member for years and realy appreicate the quality work and speed of releasing the trainers!

You have to run towards them or he gets shot.

Yup, the point is more to join him than kill everyone. I think he even comments if you're going to join him or not.

The "you only have a short amount of time to do this and this" thing in this game are kind of annoying. Luckily, it's a minor complaint and the rest of the game is pretty well amazing.
