This is nonsense of course. The problem is not their rules. The problem is their product is faulty. They force you to play online to play a singleplayer game in the name of safety, and suddenly everyone is losing items and gold left and right. It's also very annoying if you can't play your singeplayer game, because of 'server maintenance' (again!). I am aware this is normal, but only for MMO's! This isn't one!

And to those of you saying it was probably the players own fault for accessing duping sites, incorrect either. Blizzard gave the exact same response and the forums were immediately flooded with evidence proving the contrary.

I was one of those hacked, but I didn't lose a lot, as I just started playing. I didn't even have time access a fake website. Their Auction House was compromised. As soon as you accessed the Auction House, your session was hijacked.

As for those advocating the authenticator, it only offers slightly better security, or in this case, none at all, as the method used to hack the accounts, completely bypassed the login phase.

this is what i have to agree on.

also, i would like to enjoy this in an offline modes as there are often that i lose internet connection. it would totally sucks if i can't play Diablo 3 just cuz i have to be frigging online just to play.

and as for the other player...F2P is stupid and overrated. those kind of games are the one that get the most scammers/spammers.

and as for ppl with authorization getting hacked, i doubt it highly as those are individually and they probably were stupid enough to provide it as well...

however, i have this to say...we can agree to the License AS LONG AS we go and if they have licensed this game. however, the only thing i disagree with is the fact that i'm forced to be online just to play. how many of you people play this game on the laptop and is on the go?

Games aren't the same anymore. Single Player games aren't appreciated. WHY!?

Well it is a online game so get over it. Hope it never gets a offline mode.
