2TB is quite a large amount of space.

Say 1% of 2TB is fragmented, most people will shrug at that. But if it wasn't a 2TB drive but 250GB drive, that 1% is now 8%.

But don't forget anyway that Vista and 7 have an auto-defrag happening while using the PC.

I think i am getting "to old" or forgot my glasses, or watched to much the olympics, i just checked and scheduling was on for defrag, so that explained it, thx for the response though dab
