Am I the only one that hated this game?

Holy Cow, I hated this game. Okay, the visuals were awesome, and occasionally the fights were cool, but the game went from being 'super easy mash the x key' to 'super impossible you're too old and can't hit the y/x/a+b combo fast enough' way too often (Playing PC version with an XBOX controller, on 'normal')

I liked some of the puzzles, but again, some things looks like they are puzzles I will never solve because I can't hit the super perfect combo of keys/buttons/glide controls.

soo many times the game would decide to use my nice combo knockout move on the ONE guy I'm trying not to hit for clues and knock him out.

Soo many times I screamed at this game in frustration (by the way, xbox controllers are REALLY DURABLE!).

Even with the cheats and all the upgrades, still just so, so frustrating. (I was really happy when I saw how they did do a positive change to the encryption key thing - really hated it in arkham asylum - it was not bad at all in this game).

So, yes, there were some appealing things in this game, but generally speaking I spent more time yelling at the game than I did enjoying it. I did manage to finish the main story line, and am not finding myself compelled at all to go back and finish any more of the stories. Again, just frustrating.

Just needed to vent - just wondering if anyone else experienced any of the similar frustrations? Maybe I'm just too old and should stick to solitaire and minesweeper..

    -edit-
Just wanted to say, my anger/frustration is in no way related to the trainer available for the game. The only reason I managed to finish the game at all is because of the trainer. Keep up the awesome work Pwizard and Crew!

It definitely got really really hard towards the end of the game... Practice makes perfect in this game, lots and lots of practice.

Near the end of the game I kept getting my behind handed to me, then I played a ton-load of Riddler's Revenge and now I'm capable of clearing the extreme maps without getting hit.

Oh, have you played New Game+? Not only are the enemies stronger but they will also no longer show any Counter (blue lightning bolts) above their heads when they are about to hit you. It's a blast! Hilarious! Absurd! Preposterous! But not impossible.

The only thing in B:AC that I will never do, not even for a million euros, is get all the riddler trophies. NO! JUST NO! Some of the things you have to do are just STUPID even with a step-by-step youtube video on the side!

You are not alone. I recently loaded this having been playing "Skyrim" for weeks now that is a great game despite the crashes.

I have also have started to hate this game for many of the same reasons. The Demon Trial sequence is currently driving me up the wall. After many attempts I managed to land on the first blue block but cannot get any further. Every time I try to reach the second one I cannot reach it.

Also the remote controlled Batarangs are a daft idea and almost impossible to control.

I wouldn't say I hated it. It was definitely and severely overrated though. Then again, so was the first, so that tracks.

I haven't finished it since I got kinda bored with it, but I'll pick it up and play to the end one of these days. I doubt it'll change my opinion though.
