Hey all,

Hopefully you can help me out a little...

I started as The Netherlands and one of my first real goals is to take over Belgium i'm about 9 months away now and made a stronger economy and have a 80% popularity (i am not using any cheats). I am still a decromacy (did enlarged the mandate to 8 years, needed to do some bribing there lol) and have spies in Belgium and middle east countries. From this point on i have a few questions 🤔

Question 1:

So i want to take over Belgium, how to proceed without getting into a war with the UN and EU??

Question 2:

Once i have Belgium ore any other country how would i annex ore colinize it?

Question 3

Once my 2 mandates ore over (if i stay a decromacy and if as in the real world you cant have more then 2 mandates) will my game be over then? So in other words is it necessary to overthrough the decromacy?

Well i think thats about it lol

1. If you invade Belgium, there is a 99% chance that at least one NATO country will declare war on you (NATO is practically all of Europe west of Russia with any significance)
2.Once Belgium surrenders you will be given the option of, puppet state/colonize, annex, or leave them be
3. You can change the law to give you more time in office, you can even change to unlimited, but if you want you can become a dictator

So over all i recommend not invading Belgium, Europe is too intertwined for conflict, you'd be better off starting an empire in Africa or Asia

Easy, just make Belgium attack you! How to do it: Press Ctrl + Shift + Enter and type in the box "ilovecheetahs" without the quotes and then in the "console" box type in "whatisthisnation" and it will say for example "China 43", now if it says "World 0" then just rezoom, write down the number of your country (else you cant go back)

Now, zoom into the enemy's country and repeat, but now dont close the console and insead type

"switchnation (number)" by replacing number with the enemy country's #. For example

Now, do what you do, sabotage, make Belgia attack you and so on, go back to the console and type in "switchnation (number of YOUR country)" to get back to your original country.

And after they attack you, you can invade Belgia without any problem because the un, NATO, and the eu will support you instead.

And also you can do this trick to other nation such as U.K
