There's probably a potion you need to craft, which has an ingredient which is well, garlic, like in Oblivion. Just go to elderscrollswikia.com or another page, there's bound to be info about the potion somewhere.

A simple "Cure Disease" potion will work if the vampirism hasn't kicked in yet. Otherwise find Morthal east of Fort Snowhawk and talk to Falion.

I found a savegame that wasn't too far (under 1 day) along and I went to the Shrine Of Talos in Winterrun after I dropped all my loot at my house. Funny thing, I actually did run into Falion and he didn't mention anything about it?
Anywho...Only lost one level out of the whole ordeal being with my last save if I traveled anywhere I was too far gone and by the time I got there I was at day 4 and was automatically attacked.

You have to speak to a barkeeper for the latest news and you will hear about his experiments. You can only speak to him in an unthreatening state (being fed with blood).

Thanks for the info. I have already been offered by the companions to become the werewolf. I don't know if I should do it or not. Is it like being a vampire? Do you transform auto after dark to become a werewolf or do I have the option? I did the vampire thing in Oblivion and it was a pain to have to manage your day, more like a job than a game.

You aren't forced to ever change into a Werewolf. The only downside to being a werewolf is that you cannot become fully rested after sleeping.
