Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Message Board  

I highly disappointed.
When I first got my dragonsoul and was allowed to purchase a shout the game informed me that I had 1 dragonsoul and that the Thu'm was a one word shout.

When attempting to purchase it I received the error "You require dragonsouls to purchase shouts"

So I thought perhaps I just needed more, and after about 10 hours or playing I had about 15 souls.. but when attempting to buy one, I receive the same message "You require dragonsouls to purchase shouts"

I finally snapped and used the trainer, and now I had bloody 9999 dragon souls... and what happened when I attempted to buy a shout...

the exact same error.

I deleted all the safe files, tried again, same error.

I reinstalled the game, same error.
So I tried the console code for more dragonsouls (I already had 12. I Have my self 50 souls total, and still the same bloody error)

Please help me anyone at all.

PS: I tried purchasing shouts after visitng the greymanes.

Did you by chance click on the shout to unlock? The button "R" unlock the word by using 1 dragonsoul. The word should turn solid white after unlocking and then you can click on shout to equip and use.

as Iosa said dont click unlock just click the shout and press letter R that should do it
