Assassin´s Creed: Revelations Message Board  

I haven't been playing the game long, but I'm only seeing one way to reduce notoriety in the game and that is paying off heralds. In the previous games you could rip down wanted posters or kill a certain person. I'm not seeing those options in this game. Is there some other way besides the trainer?

Correction: Apparently the game does let you off officials(which now have Templar guards), but not until your notoriety is maxed. Still no posters though. I guess I'll just abuse the trainer.

The trainer doesn't take the notoriety away after you take a den. The only way to lose it in that case is to pay a bribe or kill the witness.

they canned the posters as studies showed most people couldn't care to rip down a sign for a measly 25% reduction but people would happily pay a herald and rob him for a free way to keep noterity down and a quick lol.as such they kept heralds and officals are just assassins so made sense to keep them

That sucks. Posters were my preferred method. Now you can't even buy a store without getting a %25 notoriety.
