No need to blow a gasket.

"People" have reported issues on all consoles. That doesn't mean everyone has reported these issues. It's quite possible that it's like a lot of game bugs, i.e. not everyone experiences them.

For example, three people playing the same game (and same version), one of a PS3, one on a 360, and the last on a PC. The guys on the 360 and PC report a bug, but the PS3 user never experiences the bug, even when purposely trying to repeat it.

Just look at the list of bug fixes for the 1.2 patch:
-Fixed crash on startup when audio is set to sample rate other than 44100Hz
-Fixed issue where projectiles did not properly fade away
-Fixed occasional issue where a guest would arrive to the player’s wedding dead
-Dragon corpses now clean up properly
-Fixed rare issue where dragons would not attack
-Fixed rare NPC sleeping animation bug
-Fixed rare issue with dead corpses being cleared up prematurely
-Skeleton Key will now work properly if player has no lockpicks in their inventory
-Fixed rare issue with renaming enchanted weapons and armor
-Fixed rare issue with dragons not properly giving souls after death
-ESC button can now be used to exit menus
    -Fixed occasional mouse sensitivity issues
-General functionality fixes related to remapping buttons and controls

Now, ignoring the items such as being able to use ESC, remapping buttons, etc, I can quite honestly say I've only experienced 2 out of the 10 actual bugs on that list. Whereas you or someone else may have encountered every one every time you've tried to play the game. Will you call me a liar and ask for proof?

Unless every user who has bought Skyrim simultaneously posts on a single web site that they're experiencing exactly the same bug, you can't possibly prove that it's impossible that a group of users aren't experiencing a particular bug.

Or let's come up with a simpler explanation: Serv wasn't referring to ALL of the new bugs when he said he hadn't experienced them, or hasn't experienced them yet. I've personally played for half an hour after the game was patched and I didn't get in to any fights with anyone, thus I haven't experienced the no resistances bug. No need to jump down the guys throat.

I was quite happy for the Dragon Corpse fix, since i had that happen a lot. It might not have been gamebreaking, but it was VERY annoying.

But no matter what errors they might have fixed in the patch they broke something fundamental as well, because currently nothing works for me as i said. I can't reach the main menu anymore, so frankly something about the testing of this patch sucked badly.

I called Servius out simply because I am tired of seeing horribly misleading posts by him and people like him across the Bethesda support forums.

You can browse through Servius post history on Skyrim and he's made the claim the Skyrim has no bugs. Which hurts my head.

Sure, you could list 1.2's list of fixes and say you haven't seen most of them, and that makes sense. That's why so many people are angry. Because 1.2 is a JOKE of a patch. The buglist that Bethesda forum users compiled has nearly 500 bugs and Bethesda chose to fix ridiculously rare ones that most people are convinced they knew about at release.

So you have bugs that are universal across platforms (like flying horses) that go untouched. You have bugs that have plagued the game engine for 3 years (like the PS3 lag) that go unmitigated. And then Bethesda delays a patch for "testing" and lets bugs like magic resistance being ignored go through.

You follow this up with people like Servius go, haha no bugs man. So will I call these people liars? You better believe it.

I believe you've missed my point - by a good couple miles I might add - and are countering my post with a completely different subject. Never mind.

Bottom line: he never said there were no bugs, just that he hasn't encountered them. No post I've read of his have said there are no bugs at all, just that he hasn't encountered them. Ever notice how text can be interpreted in a multitude of ways? You read it as no bugs, I read it as no bugs seen yet. That's no basis for calling him - or anyone else for that matter - out as a liar.

I had this same issue with people in another thread a while back. I said I hadn't encountered any bugs in a game, and all of a sudden everyone who had bugs dived on top of me calling me full of turd and a liar, and a developer-lover as I think you put it. Consider that maybe you're just reading something mistakenly.

No steam for me, Steam sucks.

Skyrim is a steamworks title. How are you playing it without steam?

I cannot say lol but it is fairly easy to get around using crappy steam.

An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.
I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
