If it's a Steamworks game, just install it and it'll appear in your games list.

If the game is already on steam store you can activate it though "Games" - "Activate a Product on Steam". If its not on the steam store you're going to have to go to "Games" - "Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library".

Quick question. You know how Minecraft has those little sayings on the main menu when you open it up? I saw one the other day that said, "Now on Steam!" I'm not sure what this means. Is it just for sale, or is there something deeper? Any ideas?

It was just a joke. As far as I can tell, Minecraft is not on Steam.

Does anyone know how to activate DC Universe online on Steam when downloaded from the games official website, instead of on Steam?

If it's anything like EVE, you can't. You get it either through the site or through Steam, no mixing the two. The best you'll be able to do is add it as a shortcut to your games list. Since it's F2P, however, you could just re-download it through Steam.

Of course, I don't play the game, so I could be wrong.

The only problem with re-downloading it through Steam is that it takes like 2-3 times longer than it is getting it directly from the site. Im not even sure why that is, but its annoying.
