How does the ring work? I got it, sided with Siding, got the ring uncursed. But i can still only transform once a day even with the ring equipped.

With the Ring of Hircine (not the cursed version) you can transform as much as you want, not just twice. Anyway, you have to equip the ring (I favourited it for quick equipping), then it gives you a power called "Ring of Hircine" or something, and when you use that power you transform.

But after you transform the ring is unequipped, so to transform immediately again you have to equip the ring again and use the power again. And you can't favourite the power because you lose it every time you transform (it unequips all your gear, that's why).

But you can transform as much as you want, and I've confirmed this by going on a murderous werewolf rampage around Skyrim after quicksaving.
